Food From the Bar: A Community Meal Fundraiser
Food Insecurity in Solano County is real. We battle it with our Community Meal on Mondays and Wednesdays—now serving an average of 550 meals a week. We are supported by The Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano counties & they need our help! Every year Food from the Bar, a committee of the Contra Costa County Bar Association holds a fundraising drive for the Food Bank. This year, the drive runs through October 14. An anonymous donor has pledged up to $25,000 as a matching grant for all donations received during the drive. Donate today at: https://give.foodbankccs.org/team/609717?campaignId=284991
Contact Barbara Jewell for more info- email: [email protected] or phone: 510-368-5072.
Barbara will be in attendance on Sunday to help troubleshoot any issues.
This matching grant opportunity is too good an opportunity to ignore!

Dia de Los Muertos Celebration: Sunday, October 27, 2024.
This will be a time to remember those we have lost, and those who have passed before us in our own families, and those who made a difference in our lives. As well as the patriots who birthed the United States and the people who fought to make the aspirations of our Declaration of Independence a reality for everyone. As we anticipate the Bishop’s arrival, we will be focusing on those people who shaped the Episcopal church and supported our baptismal covenant—that we are bound to support the dignity of every human being. We will be installing an outside Ofrenda and on the 27th will display our altar cloth naming those we have loved and lost. Other displays are planned as well. Pan de Muerto will be served at coffee hour. If you would like names added to the alter cloth, or would like to help install the Ofrenda or with coffee hour on the 27th, please contact our parish office prior to October 20th, [email protected]
