June is Pride Month!
On Sunday, June 28th, 10 am, we will recognize and celebrate with a PRIDE Sunday. We will gather outside for our worship service, and a special coffee hour will follow. There will be a resource table at coffee hour, including reading/movie suggestions, local and Diocesan resources, information on being a strong ally, along with Pride stickers and “tattoos.” Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. All are welcome.
Pew Adoptions: Adopt, Don’t Shop
Have you ever imagined what our pews would look like as adorable, adoptable pets?
Maybe not, but have you imagined what the pews will look like sitting on a freshly refinished floor? Now imagine them lovingly restored with comfortable new cushions, ready to welcome worshipers for years to come!
Saint Paul’s Vestry invites you to be part of the church restoration by “adopting the pews “or contributing toward the adoption of one. Every gift helps, and no amount is too small.
The restoration cost for each pew is $842 and includes an expert restoration that preserves the antique finish and a new custom cushion. All gifts will be acknowledged on a community plaque in the church.
To contribute, you can:

Write a check to Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church and note “Adopt-a-Pew” in the memo line, or

Give online at https://stpaulsbenicia.org/giving/ and select “Adopt the Pews.”
Our fundraising campaign runs from June 14 through August 31.

Outdoor Worship: June 28 – July 26
Women’s Bible Study – June 30

Please join us for our Women’s Bible Study on Tuesday, June 30, at 7:00 PM in the Undercroft. This month, we will be discussing The Book of Genesis.
Whether this is your first time attending or you joined us for our previous session, we would love to have you with us. Open to women of all gender experiences, including transgender and gender-fluid women.
Come for thoughtful discussion, shared insights, and fellowship in a welcoming and supportive environment.
TGIFF Pop-Up Location!
Friday, June 26 • 5:30–7:30 PM • Parish Hall
Like much of our campus this summer, TGIFF is making a temporary move! While the Undercroft hosts another group, we’ll gather in the Parish Hall for an evening of food, fellowship, and fun.
Bring an appetizer to share and your favorite beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Renovations may be underway, but the Fourth Friday tradition continues! Dawson & Andrew Urban will be hosting this month.
Live Streaming Hiatus:
Livestream Update: Our livestream is taking a little summer vacation while our Sanctuary Restoration Project is underway! We’ll be offline from June 28 – July 26, then back on the air beginning August 2nd. We look forward to worshipping with you in person and outdoors during this exciting season of renewal. Thanks for your patience as we renovate our sacred space.
Benicia Peddlers Fair: Be Part of the Tradition
St. Paul’s has proudly provided volunteers for the Benicia Peddlers Fair since 1963, and we’re keeping the tradition going! We’ve got a variety of shifts available, so whether you’re an early bird, or a midday wanderer powered entirely by kettle corn and community spirit, we’d love your help.
